Holocaust Remembrance Day

Today is the Israeli Holocaust Remembrance Day. In Israel, the Holocaust Day is observed in the spring; six days after Passover and six day before the Israeli Memorial Day.  The Israeli Holocaust Remembrance Day is the day when the Israeli nation stops its daily routine to remember the Holocaust victims. Every year, on this day, Israeli citizens renew their commitment to defend Jewish people from religion prosecution wherever they might be.

The Holocaust Remembrance Day is an important event for the Jewish people, yet, for many of us, the day of remembrance is no different from any other day; we remember the Holocaust every day. The memory of the Holocaust is always there. It guides us in our lives on small and big issues.

We will never forget
