When Ilana Goldenberg, my niece , was featured in this week’s edition of the Shalom Tampa, the e-newsletter of the Tampa Jewish Community Center & Federation, I couldn’t be more proud. Ilana has been active in pro-Israeli and Jewish organizations since she was a teenager. In college she was active in Jewish student organizations and held leadership positions in Hillel and Chabad. She chaired the growing Noles for Israel students organization.
Ilana is motivated to make a difference and help others. She dedicates her free time to social and charity activities. As a leader, she is active in promoting social Jewish causes, and getting young Jewish people involved in Jewish organizations. Presently, she is a board member of the Tampa Jewish National Fund (JNF), and the Chabad of South Tampa.
Ilana has an MA degree in Security and Diplomacy from Tel Aviv University, and a BA degree in International Relations and Affairs from Florida State University.
The spotlight series is featuring young Jewish leaders in appreciation of their effort, and recognition that the future of the Jewish People is dependent on their continues success. For recognition, please submit articles to email@example.com
